Hi, I’m Luna I build systems for teams that need to design at scale without losing their soul.
For over twelve years, I’ve helped brands to turn creative vision into real experiences while building shared design languages that bring teams together.
Recent work
Heineken
I joined Heineken in 2022, when we merged 40 regional B2B platforms into a unified global product ecosystem. This major organisational transformation required a shared language that was flexible enough to scale across diverse markets.
In that scenario, I founded Crate – Heineken’s global B2B design system. Shaping it from design tokens and workflows to most recently, AI automations. I also led the brand application track and design culture, setting up frameworks and rituals that connected product, engineering, marketing and brand.
I enabled rapid scaling from 6 to over 235 contributors in two years while keeping a strong design culture.
Impact
- 55% → 94% component health in 6 months
- 40 regional platforms → 1 global B2B platform
- Voluntary adoption by 4 Heineken OpCos
- 230% community engagement growth
Adidas
Before that, I redesigned key product recommendation flows on adidas.com, building on earlier experiments and grounding decisions in cross-functional discovery with engineering and data science.
What started as a quick experiment grew into a shared recommendation approach to how placement, logic, and editorial inputs fit together, so teams could align on one coherent model. We replaced 10+ scattered carousels with one configurable pattern supporting 36 variations.
I also advocated for curated, human-led recommendations – stories from athletes and creators, as a trust and brand layer alongside algorithmic merchandising.

What I say
Design has been part of my life long before it became my career. Back when computers were still a three-piece setup, a passion for reading and writing led me to start a blog – only to become completely obsessed with how it looked (and with all the gifs I wanted to make). Turns out that obsession never went away – it just grew up into design systems, tokens, and the exciting world of how brands communicate at scale.
Away from screens, I’m a person who shoots on film, listens to loud music, reads a bunch of books while drinking a bunch of coffee, maintains an ever-evolving Japan itinerary I may or may not act on, and enjoys living in Amsterdam with a husband (whom I’ve already converted into a designer) and two cats (still working on those).
